Ele Jin

is one of the new breeds of exciting young photographers closing the gap between the east and the west. She has an enthusiastic contemporary approach to photography producing images with a creative individual style.

Her first love is fashion and beauty photography. Her distinctive edgy images have graced the pages of a number of English & European magazines and her images are now in demand by some of the best fashion magazines in her native Shanghai such as Elle & Vogue.

Ele distinctive fashion style is carried across into her advertising work. Her bright distinctive shots have a bright vibrant feel. Ele has worked with many 4A advertising agencies in China such as Publicis, DDB, JWT, TBWA, L&B, Y&R. Her major clients include L'OREAL, TOYOTA, VIRGIRN MOBILE etc.

Although only 30 years of age Ele's great strength other than her creative ability is her technical knowledge. Having achieved an MA at University of Central England, she then studied at England leading photography college The London College of Printing obtaining a distinction in Professional Photography Practice. This background has given her an excellent technical knowledge. Her skills make her equally at home when shooting either on 35mm, medium, or large format. She is also a skilled digital photographer and is one of the first young photographers to shoot digitally in Shanghai.

Ele is now based back in Shanghai and has her own studio based, She is constantly experimenting with new Ideas helped by her skills in fashion styling.

Ele worked in London with leading photographer Adrian Mott at Roof Studios working in partnership. They have formed the London Shanghai Studio Group. The group will offer the ability to work in either city or on location in either country and to bring experience and skills to large international shoots. Both photographers are available for shoots in both cities.

Ele is destined to become one of Shanghai's leading photographers.
